Dr. Sateesh Vattam
Medical Director
Sateesh Vattam joined us as our new Medical Director in September 2022. Dr Vattam received his degree in veterinary medicine in India in 1998, followed by a year of clinical training at Oklahoma State University. He then obtained a MS degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2004.
His primary focus is general medicine but has extensive experience with dentistry, surgery and emergency medicine. He has enjoyed the welcome he has received from his new Sacramento clients and their pets. In his spare time, Dr. Vattam enjoys spending time with his family, walking, reading and going to the movies.

Dr. Katie True
Received her D.V.M. in 1991 from U.C. Davis after completing her B.A. in Animal Physiology from U.C. San Diego in 1986. She was born and raised in Davis and has worked at Midtown Animal Hospital since 1996. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but especially internal medicine, dermatology, preventative health and senior care. Outside of veterinary medicine she is involved as a volunteer for AFS, an international high school exchange program, and puppy raising with Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Dr. Craig Dinger
Received his D.V.M. from U.C. Davis in 1998 after completing his B.A. in Biology from U.C. Riverside and has been with Midtown Animal Hospital since 2002. He spent his younger years in Aurora, CO before moving to Southern California. He enjoys treating dogs and cats but has a special interest in non-traditional pets, especially reptiles. During his free time he enjoys bicycling, gardening, computers and being a grandfather.
